Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of the advertising services offered on VN ở Mỹ (vnomy.com) under the /advertise/ program. By signing up for an advertising package, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

1. Eligibility & account

  • You must be 18 or older and have authority to enter into a binding contract on behalf of the business you are advertising.
  • You must provide accurate business name, email, phone, and city. Submitting false information is grounds for immediate account termination without refund.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We are not liable for account activity that occurs under your credentials.
  • One account per business. Multiple locations under the same brand should be discussed with us before signup.

2. Billing & cancellation

  • Your package is billed monthly to the card on file. The charge date is the date you first signed up (e.g., if you signed up July 28, your next charge is August 28).
  • You may cancel at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing info@vnomy.com. You will not be charged for any month after the month in which you cancel. If you cancel on July 28, your card is not charged for August.
  • Sales tax may be added to your charge where required by law.
  • Failed payments: if your card cannot be charged, we will retry up to 3 times over 7 days and email you. If payment still fails, your ad stops running and your account is paused. After 30 days without payment, the account is closed.
  • By clicking “Continue to Payment” on the signup form, you authorize a recurring monthly charge to the card you provide, and you confirm that you understand you can cancel at any time.

3. Ad content & editorial standards

You are responsible for all content you upload (headlines, descriptions, images, links). You certify that your ad content:

  • Is accurate and not misleading about your business, products, services, or pricing.
  • Does not violate any local, state, or federal law.
  • Does not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property, including copyright, trademark, or right of publicity.
  • Does not contain prohibited content (defined below).

4. Prohibited ad content

  • Illegal goods or services — drugs, unlicensed firearms, counterfeit goods, unlicensed financial services, etc.
  • Adult content — pornography, escort services, sexual content.
  • Gambling — unlicensed gambling, betting, or casino-style offers.
  • Hate speech & discrimination — content that demeans or attacks a protected group.
  • Multi-level marketing / pyramid schemes.
  • Misleading health claims.
  • Counterfeit or knockoff goods.
  • Cryptocurrency & speculative financial products (memes, NFTs, day-trading signals).

5. Our right to refuse or remove

We may refuse to publish an ad, or pull a live ad, at our discretion if it violates any of these terms or appears to. We will email you before pulling a live ad when practical. We may also remove ads that are generating complaints from readers.

6. No guarantee of impressions, clicks, or results

Our ad system is a rotating inventory across our pages. We do not guarantee a minimum number of impressions, clicks, or business outcomes. Monthly analytics are provided for your reference, not as a service level commitment.

7. Right to operate the service

You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to run an ad on vnomy.com against your chosen tier. You may not resell, sublicense, or assign your ad slot to another party without our written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the advertising service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email active customers at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Dispute resolution

If we can’t resolve a dispute by email within 30 days, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any other legal action. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.

11. Customer responsibility to publish

Creating an ad in the dashboard and publishing an ad are two distinct actions. After signup, you build your ad (creative image, description, link) in the dashboard. The ad does not enter the rotation queue until you click the Publish button. Ads in the unpublished/draft state do not rotate, regardless of your subscription status or payment history.

You are responsible for clicking Publish to take your ad live. The dashboard displays a warning banner (“N ad(s) ready to publish — hit Publish to go live”) whenever you have an unpublished ad. We are not liable for ads that have not been published. If you do not publish and your ad does not appear in rotation, that is not grounds for a refund or chargeback.

12. Ad creative size requirements

Platinum and Diamond tiers require both a 300×250 pixel image (used in the events sidebar) and a 728×90 pixel image (used in articles, city pages, classifieds, and events leaderboard). Both image dimensions must be exact; the upload form rejects files that do not match the required dimensions. Lower tiers require one image whose dimensions match the size of the slot their tier covers.

If you uploaded only one of the two required sizes for Platinum or Diamond, your ad will rotate in the slots that match the available size; the slots requiring the missing size will be silent. You are responsible for uploading both sizes. We are not liable for rotation gaps caused by missing uploads.

13. Unpublishing

You may unpublish your ad at any time from the dashboard. Unpublishing removes your ad from all rotation queues immediately. Unpublishing is reversible: click Publish again to return the ad to rotation. Your subscription continues to renew while your ad is unpublished. You remain responsible for charges during the unpublished period.

14. Self-serve account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard (Settings → Delete account). The deletion process requires you to type the word delete to confirm.

After you confirm deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this period:

  • Your business profile and creatives are offline and not visible to readers.
  • Your ad placements are removed from rotation queues.
  • Your login remains active so you can reverse the deletion by signing in and clicking “Reverse deletion” before the 30-day window closes.

After the 30-day grace period, your account is permanently deleted. This includes your business profile, all uploaded creatives, all ad placements, and your login. The deletion is irreversible. You will receive a confirmation email at the time of the request and a final email after the data is permanently erased.

Account deletion stops your subscription from renewing. You will not be charged for any billing period that begins after the deletion request.
